Here is a quick guide to help you have a great time during your stay with us. Please also see the hostel terms and conditions. Cheers! :)
o We operate on a one person per bed policy. Please be considerate of other guests and do not bring extra people back to the rooms. Violators will be fined.
o No pets allowed. As much as we love them, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets in the hostel. :(
o Valid identification for all guests is required upon check-in.
o Check-in time: Your bed will be ready at 2 pm.
o Check-out time is 12 NN. You may check-out from 8am-12nn, but if you wish to check-out earlier, please let us know in advance.
o Our cleaning staff starts at 11AM. We do our best not to disturb our guests.
o Upon check-in, the bed comes with fresh beddings and a towel. After a 4 day stay, the towel and beddings may be replaced at the reception, upon request, free of charge.
o Complimentary continental breakfast is served from 730 am to 10 am at the Roof Deck Dining area. Appliances & utensils may not be removed from the kitchen.
o Please switch off lights and ceiling fans when not in use. Planet Earth will love you more!
o Rooms, toilets, bathrooms, balconies, and hallways are non-smoking areas. If you wish to smoke, you may do so at the open roof deck or outside the establishment. No smoking, vaping (e-cigarettes), drinking and eating inside the dorm rooms. Smoke detectors in place. Violators shall be fined.
o All types of illegal substances are forbidden in the hostel. Vessel Hostel is a drug free establishment. Management reserves the right to remove guest/s who are found to be carrying and/or under the influence of these substances.
o Have fun, surf hard, and sleep easy. We want all our guests (and neighbors) to have good rest. Please keep the noise down between 11 pm and 7 am.
o As you will be in a dorm room, you may or may not share the room with other guests OR might hear noises from outside. If you are a light sleeper and might have problems with people snoring, dogs barking, vehicles driving by, and the occasional hallway conversation, we have earplugs for sale at the Front Desk.
o The common areas are under video surveillance for your own protection.
o The furnishings and facilities are there for your benefit and that of future guests; all facilities are to be treated with TLC. As common courtesy, please leave the common areas and rooms clean and tidy after use.
o Common areas are for the use and enjoyment of all guests, and friends of guests. Share a table, win a friend! :) However, all NON GUESTS will be asked to leave the premises at 1:00am
o Guests (and friends of guest/s) are required to conduct themselves in a disciplined and responsible manner at the Hostel and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. Any act/s of indecency, lewdness and undisciplined behavior may be subject to fines up to Php10,000.00
o The hostel management reserves the right to refuse entry to non-guests -- for the security of those checked-in.
o Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety or security of other guests or staff will be asked to leave the hostel and will not receive a refund.
o The use of fire escapes, fire extinguishers and fire buttons is only allowed in case of emergencies. Abuse of this is sanctioned with a fine of Php10,000. Guests who deliberately cause a false alarm will have to refund all costs to Vessel Hostel.
o Minors traveling alone must be able to show written permissions to travel from their parent(s) or guardian.
o If something is great, tell your friends. If something isn’t right, please tell us. :) We'll appreciate it.
o By booking a bed, guests agree to the terms & conditions and the house rules.
