Booking

o    Bookings/reservations are processed only on our website. 

o    We have a one-person per-bed policy in the private dorm rooms. Bed sharing is not allowed (with special exemptions upon the discretion of management and should be agreed upon in writing).

o    Booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment via bank deposit/bank transfer/PayPal/GCash (regional/international inter-bank transfer rates, and/or transaction fees may apply). Since we don’t accept credit/debit card payments yet, the credit/debit card information that you will be required to enter only allows the system to hold the reservation for you and your credit/debit card will not be charged.

o   We can hold reservations for up to 2 banking days from the time payment details are given to the guest(s). Should we not receive deposit confirmation within 2 days, the reservation will be canceled.

o   We do give PWD/senior citizen discounted rates to the person who owns the PWD/senior citizen ID. Kindly indicate in the guest comments that you have a PWD/senior citizen ID when you book. If you inform us about the PWD/senior citizen ID after payment is made, we will refund you the discount amount however you would have to shoulder the bank transfer fees.

Walk-ins

o   Walk-in guests may be accommodated, subject to room availability

o   Full payment must be made upon check-in.

Check-in

o    Valid identification for all guests is required upon check-in.

o    A Php500/person deposit will be collected upon registration. This shall be refunded upon return of room key and towel during check-out. (Should the guest lose the key and/or surrender a damaged and/or stained towel, the Php500 deposit shall not be returned.)

o    Check-in time: Your room will be ready at 2 pm. :)

o    Early check-in will be allowed if the room(s) you will be occupying is/are vacant from the previous night. Early check-in rates apply. If early check-in (or late checkout) is 12 hours or more, this is considered a full night’s stay. 

Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your reservation, a minimum of 5 days (120 hours) notice before 2 pm of your check-in date is required to obtain a deposit credit wherein you may re-book your stay, subject to room availability (Payment is NON-refundable).

No rebooking /cancellation between 1-4 days prior to check-in date.

Deposit credit must be used within 3 months of the date of the original booking.

Cancellations must be sent via email to Vessel Hostel and are only valid if it is confirmed in writing by management.


o   There are NO REFUNDS for late arrivals, early departures, shortening of stays or no shows

o    Vessel Hostel is not liable for any loss, damage or theft of guest property in the hostel premises and parking area.

 


 

Force Majeure

We cannot accept any liability where the hostel booking could not be fulfilled due to circumstances which we could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such events may include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, strikes or other industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, act of God, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, closures of airports, ports and/or ferries, quarantine, epidemics, pandemics, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our control.

 

 


o    We will not disclose any personal information without your permission unless we are legally obliged to do so.
